"I'm going to make everything around me beautiful. That will be my life."
My name is Anita Fendrock Janicki, and I am in love with all things vintage. I also adore sewing, stitching, and creating pretty things. Other passions include living green, eating organic, practicing yoga and supporting indie businesses whenever possible. With everything I do, I strive to find joy in the moments and beauty in my surroundings.
For a listing of my some of my favorite web sites, please view my Places I Visit page. You will find links to some of what I consider to be the best vintage, sewing and organic living sites, just to name a few!
I am in the midst of a 101 In 1001 project; visit the page for a look at what I am currently working on. I am also conducting a Random Kindness Blog Tour. Though I have currently let this, and blogging in general lapse, I am working to turn that around. If you write or know of a blog that is a good fit, please let me know!
I share space; an apartment in Metropolitan Washington, DC and a 1939 built red brick bungalow in Northwestern Pennsylvania, with a wonderful man and two Maltese fur babies that I am crazy about. You will get to know them a bit better in some of my posts.
Because my life does not focus on a single subject, neither does this blog. It is where I share what I am working on, thinking about and what's inspiring me. You'll find posts about my home, my crafting, my towns and what I see in and feel about the world in general. This blog is not monetized, and all thoughts and opinions are my own. Anything that can be linked back to a source will be. I hope that you enjoy reading my musings as much as I enjoy writing them!
I love email! Drop me a line ~ email@example.com. I also love it when you take the time to comment here! I want my blog to be a positive and nurturing place here on the interwebs, so I ask that you practice kindness when you do so. I am always receptive to constructive criticism, but if your comment is mean or cruel, I will probably delete it. Honesty and kindness are wonderful things; let's share them with each other! xoxo
