Shop For A Cause On Etsy

Earlier this month, one of my favorite bloggers, Vicky of Rusty Rooster Vintage, wrote about some beautiful handmade butterfly cards that she purchased on Etsy.  Not just pretty stationary, these are cards for a cause. {Thank you so much for introducing me to this important issue, Vicky.} Friends, read that post for yourself here.

The cause is research into a rare genetic disorder called Cockayne Syndrome, which causes rapid aging in children, and for which there is no cure.

Scarlett Clay is the artist, and her son Knox has this devastating childhood disease.  She blogs about her art, life and shop here.

To see more of these unique handmade cards and to learn how you can help support this fund raising effort, visit the Etsy shop, Cards For Cockayne Syndrome, here.

And please consider taking a moment to visit the web site Amy and Friends ~ Cockayne Syndrome Support, here.

Thanks for reading, dear friends!

xoxo, Anita

Dear friends,
I apologize for the fact that I have had to enable comment moderation here! I want this to be a space of free and open dialog, but I have a blog stalker who seems to enjoy leaving unkind and pointless comments.
All other comments, whether you are in complete agreement with me or are challenging what I am sharing here, will be approved immediately, and I hope that this will not discourage you from taking the time to share your opinions.
