Handmade Goodness {Received}

I love this gift so much that I just had to photograph it to share with you.

(Every single thing inside is handmade!}

{Cherry Brandy, Vanilla Extract, Niagara White Wine}

{Squash Soup}

{Black Bean Soup}

{Pepper Jelly, Salsa, Dill Pickles}

This beautiful gift was made by the hands of the mister's son and his husband in their home in New York, and delivered to us during their Christmas visit.  I can't begin to tell you what a joy it was to receive!  Definetly our favorite gift of the season, by a lot.

How do you feel about handmade gifts?  I would love to hear!

  1. You can tell that a lot of love went into it! My gosh, the tags, the bits of gingham and twine, and everything fitting neatly into a basket. Not to mention the delicious homemade foods! What dear men they are.
    I LOVE this type of gift. I have never received anything like it, but I love making the treats and putting them together in pretty baskets. I'm the only one of my local group who does this type of thing, and I'm never quite sure how well my homemade gifts are received. But that's okay because I had the enjoyment of giving them!

  3. Katrina,
    I've never been quite sure either, which is why I wanted to make sure that they know how much we love it. The mister actually said that if they made us something every year, he would be the happiest father ever. Isn't that sweet?!
    I am sure that the recipients of your gifts love them! I've seen what you make, and it's beautiful! And the best gifts reflect the giver, I think.
    Thanks for visiting!
