November Gratitude

I find many things to be grateful for as the Thanksgiving month begins.

Frost chilled mornings that give way to warm and sunny afternoons...

~Autumn turned leaves on trees and on the ground...

~longer nights so perfect for crafting and creating...

~brought the time to turn a basket full of felt pumpkins into a garland to hang over a door.

These are just a few of the things I'm finding special joy in right now.

What are you grateful for this November?  I would love to hear!

  1. Thank you for sharing the photos of the beautiful fall colors. Is that a Japanese maple? So lovely. It seems like a storybook life to me, with the trees changing, and then the snow coming soon. Of course I'd probably whine endlessly about the cold if I were actually there, but it is wonderful to dream about.
I am grateful for so much in my life but I think it all narrows down to personal freedom. I've been exceedingly fortunate all my life in having the freedom to change careers, relationships, residences, and myself, as needed. It just took me a few decades to *realize* I had it!

  2. I adore all of the gratitude that gets stirred up
    like leaves in the wind
this time of year....makes my heart canter!
Your pumpkin garland is deliciously beautiful!
    I'm grateful for YOU!

  3. What beautiufl pictures adn I absolutely love the pumpkin bunting.
I'm looking forward to Guy Fawkes night on Saturday, fireworks, standing around a bonfire until the early hours, chatting and drinking with friends. x

  4. Katrina~ Yes, that is a Japanese Maple. There are two on the property, and I just love them. The freedom you describe is certainly something to be grateful for! It's often the case that we take our blessings for granted, so it's wonderful that you recognize that and realize how lucky you are.

Jen~ I am grateful for you, as well! And your beautiful blog, where you share so much love.

Vix~ I can't wait to read what you blog about Guy Fawkes night; I love what you share about your life!

Dear friends,
Thank you for taking the time to comment! ! I want this to be a space of free and open dialog, within the boundaries of respect and basic human kindness. Whether we are in agreement or not, all comments will be published so long as they meet that requirement.
